«The hero’s Path»
Each person is unique and identical in his own way, of course, if it is a person, not an animal or a biorobot. Each person writes his own Book of Life based on his actions, thoughts and actions and is the main character of this book. If a person develops and grows, of course. Often, it was not even the person himself who consciously made such a decision, but received the so-called «magic pendel» before that from higher powers. About such a person, we can say that he is going through his «hero’s path.»
In fact, it looks something like this. It all starts with an ordinary hero living his unremarkable life, an ordinary person. Then people, events, phenomena, or the supernatural break into his life, which will affect the spiritual world of the hero. As a result, the main character, after going through a series of tests, becomes cool and even deified in a sense.
The beginning is always the same. Some external events crash into the familiar little world of the protagonist, like the rabbit running down the rabbit hole. Let’s call this the call of adventure. The next stage is the rejection of this call, the denial of change, and a strong desire to return to the old, familiar world. This rejection continues until the hero receives supernatural help from a teacher or mentor who gives advice and guidance on navigating the local waters. For them, life in that world imposed on the main character is understandable and familiar, providing basic concepts and skills for survival. This information motivates and tempers the hero, making him mentally prepared to overcome the threshold.
A threshold is the boundary that triggers a chain of events where a certain stage ends. Whether a hero crosses the threshold into the next stage depends greatly on the Guardian of the Threshold. This character decides whether the protagonist is worthy of continuing on the path of his development. The Guardian can pose a riddle or arrange a test in which the protagonist will need to demonstrate all their experience and knowledge.
When the hero passes the threshold, the initiation stage begins for him.
This stage is also called rebirth. Through this stage, new life stages of development and growth begin. This is followed by the hero’s adaptation to new circumstances and competition for power and resources. 2 types of characters appear, these are allies and opponents. Often, former allies become opponents and vice versa.
The hero passes all the tests that the enemies throw at him, and his allies help him. The more allies you have, the more likely you are to pass the test.
While fighting enemies, the hero has to face his shadow side. To understand that he is not perfect, there is both good and evil in him, and if you want to win, you have to play by the rules of this world. After all, the strongest survives, and on the planet of murderers it is sacred to be a sinner.
The difficulty of the trials will increase until the point of death arrives. When the enemies have won and it seems that everything is hopeless. But it is in a state of complete despair that there is a way out of a painful situation. This is a stage of transformation, followed by a great reward for the experience gained.
